Half-Life 2 Deathmatch - Community for OldSchool Gamers - News / Comments / 1on1 Cup #11 Results

After Russia has claimed victory on the Nations Cup 2013, we came back to our casual cups, starting with a 1MapOnly Cup, Lockdown!

We had a new guest yesterday, Atome, and the return of Surinamo into the HL2DM scene, always good to see new additions from time to time.

Overall report of the cup: Even though this is Surinamo's first cup in HL2DM.net , he was confused by GAVVVR's gameplay, but he did pretty well, losing with a 5 frags difference is not bad at all. Max then played against TiRRaN, and beat him with a good frag difference, TiRRaN did not play well as he stated and was confused too, much confusion lately, eat your dinner before you play please. Max then meets GAVVVR and loses to him, what a surprise, wasn't expecting it tbh, Max was unfortunately thrown into the Third Place match with Matthew, who beat Atome in a very close match and got destroyed by QuAz who won Vels and was then moved to fight GAVVVR for the gold lockdown pajama.
QuAz showed some skilled gameplay in lockdown and did some nice ricochets on GAVVVR, making him win the first spot.
Matthew's lifting skills did not proof to be well against Max thus losing the third place spot. :D

Thank you Silla for your hard work all these years. It's a shame that the site is inactive as the community is still alive and playing every day. I don't know why people stopped using this site and prefer a discord group :( Time to archive everything for posterity :p
