I followed each instructions correctly , but, when i create the hl2.exe shortcut & try to change the ' start in ' options , it again said me this error > " The folder C\user\ etc.. specified in the fields 'Start in' is not valid. Check that the file exists and that the path is correct. " If anyone got an idea . Thanks .

Try this: Rename your folder to hl2dm_20130624 and move the folder into your program files location. Then copy paste this in your 'Start in'. C:\Program Files\hl2dm_20130624\hl2.exe -game hl2mp -steam -appid 320 -console -window -novid -w 1280 -h 720 Then you have everything like me, and for me it works.
