Welcome to HL2DM, try to have fun while you still can :P Here is a config you can use initially, these are only bits taken from Maxtasy's config v1.3 (that you can find on the downloads section of this website), which are probably the most important to have as a start. since you are an experienced TF2 player, you may know about configs already, but here is a quick recap: 1- place the autoexec.cfg and custom_graphics_settings.cfg into your cfg folder 2- if you wish to use the custom_graphics_settings.cfg, just remove the comments (//) before the "exec custom_graphics_settings" line in autoexec.cfg 3- autoexec always executes on game launch, meaning your settings (or to be specific, the ones that are mentioned in the autoexec.cfg) will be technically always overwritten with what you have in autoexec.cfg Have fun.
